Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It is of superb quality, this is one of the finest examples you could find.
The three drawers have turned handles and are beautifully constructed with fine hand cut dovetailed joints. The back of the desk is also nicely polished, so this can be used as a free standing item. The inset green leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, it compliments the mahogany tones wonderfully.
We have just had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
