Typical Cheshire style case with original gold leaf decoration to the hood.
Square brass dial with silvered zones, engraved dial centre with subsidiary calendar.

Unusual painted moonphase to the dial centre with "dark of moon".
Fine quality 8 day movement,striking the hours on a single bell, in fully restored condition.
Finely fretted serpentine blued steel hands.
