A Rare Pair of Georgian Irish Silver Gilt Large Mustard Spoons

An interesting and rather rare item of antique silver flatware. These delightful examples are a matching pair of silver gilt mustard spoons, of large proportions. They are in fiddle pattern and date from the turn of the 18th Century. Good collector's pieces with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. The gilding is softening in parts, commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Crowned harp, Hibernia and Maker's mark only.

Date :- Dublin c1800.

Maker :- John Power.

Length :- 10.8 cms.

Width :- 2 cms.

Depth :- 1 cm.
