Mid C18th George II period mahogany fold-over gaming or card table .
Raised on shapely cabriole legs onto claw-and-ball feet with shell , acanthus-leaf and ‘c-scroll’ carved knees . The fold-over top of shaped outline , opening to reveal a baize-lined interior . The reverse fitted with a single gate-leg action to support the opened top when unfolded.
Superb grade of figured Cuban mahogany which has achieved a rich colour, patina and surface. In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs.
