Description

This has got to be the perfect grand biscuit / cookie box for the dog lover or the most decadent box for Fido's treats!

Dating to around 1870. a true Victorian example made for a top-notch silver plated cradle and a heavy cut crystal box which sits inside; the top crowned with a plated collar and domed hinged lid.

The supports around the cradle are classical each topped with a Ram's head. Of course what makes this an exceptional example are the two dog's heads on either side, beautifully cast with excellent detail including the collar around the neck

Magnificent in every way in superb condition. 9" x 7" x 8" tall to top of finial topping the domed lid.
