This fine ''gorge'' cased carriage clock was made in Paris circa 1870-80. The clock is in very original condition with some of the original gilt in places and with a gilt ''engine turned'' masked dial. Bevelled glass to all sides and a top glass to view the original Bi-metallic, jeweled silvered lever escapement . Push repeat and gong striking on the hour with alarm facility. The movement is completely original and serviced, cleaned and polished and sold with a full 24 month guarantee . The dial showing Roman numerals with the blued steel Breguet hands. Unusually the alarm dial has Romans instead of Arabic''s which is very attractive and quite rare.
