Art Deco Gentleman's 14k White Gold Wrist Watch, C1930

1920 - 1940
Description

For your consideration and for those gents out there who aspire to something not only of good quality but represents true Art Deco in it's styling not just noted for when it was made and in great condition, then this wrist watch maybe what you're seeking. Made by Glycine and dating between 1920 - 1929 this manual winding watch originates from Switzerland and runs on 15 jewels. The 14k white gold filled casing is beautifully engraved to the sides. A good sized dial for modern day use, originally as a dress watch but works equally well for day wear for the dapper gentleman out there. This watch is in remarkable condition for it's age, 90 odd years and no scratching to the glass crystal, no wear through the gold or back plate. If this watch wasn't perfect enough it has an expandable strap which actually feels genuinely nice to wear. This watch has just been fully and professionally serviced so will serve the new owner for many years again. FREE UK delivery, sent in a gift presentation box.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
