These are a superb quality pair of 19th century French armchairs. The deep buttoned details with the piecrust edge is a great combination and when these are upholstered they will be a very inviting pair of chairs. Combine that with the original gilt legs they really are rather special. Comfy and attractive size. Evidence of historic worm in the legs but all treated and doesn't effect the structural stability. I also have a matching sofa that can be purchased separately to these chairs.
