18th Century Antique Oak Coffer

A solid 18th century antique oak coffer. The antique oak coffer has a four panel hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior. To the front of the antique oak coffer are four panels with the initials ‘MD’ carved to the top, and dated ‘1713’. The 18th century antique oak coffer is raised on simple stile feet.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, dents, stains and splits to the lid (pictured), further marks, scratches and fading to the front and sides (pictured). There are signs of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak coffer is particularly worn and has patina throughout, however it remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a rustic example of its kind.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
