The ‘C’ scroll handle is very sharply modelled, with acanthus leaf moulded thumb piece.
Having a cauliflower floret as the finial, to the pierced cover.
All beneath a fine lead glaze.
Height – 5 1/8”, 13 cm.
Width – 7 7/8”, 20 cm – spout to handle.
Depth – 11 cm, 4 3/8”
A fine example of this type of teapot, similar examples of which can be found in all the great collections of English ceramics.

Condition: Two chips to the underside of the finial. Shallow chip to rim of spout. Please see images for detail. No restoration.
