In worn condition but tremendously beautiful Caucasian rug, no later than 1850. Highly collectable, in my thirty years dealing with the rarest antique tribal rugs on the planet, I have only ever seen two complete Karachopf Kazak with a light blue background colour. The vast majority are either a variety of red or green background, and mostly they are younger than this early, pre-commercial example.

A real work of art that will look stunning displayed on your wall, a novel talking point for guests in your beautiful home and extremely affordable- undervalued in my view- textile art.
