Description

An excellent 12 drawer entomological collectors cabinet in mahogany by messrs watkins & doncaster 36 the strand, london. Circa 1920.

In super condition this cabinet will lend itself to many collecting pursuits other than it's original purpose, the housing and protection of a collection of butterflies. Cabinets like this are more and more being utilised for the collection and display of medals ,watches, small silver items etc,etc.

12 large drawers all with original knobs, all fittings and key, hinges etc original.

All drawers lined with a cork base and white acid free cartridge paper, condition good enough to go straigh tin with objects or specimens. All original closely fitting glazed frame tops.

Riding on hidden casters.
