N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
There is then a moulding to the top edge leading to the square body of the case which has glass viewing windows to the front, back, and sides. There is then a further “bell” shaped moulding to the bottom leading to the final moulding and base. Finally the case is finished by four, thin wooden feet.

The dial is then silvered and set out in black Roman numerals with a thin ring to the outside marking the minutes. Each corner of the dial then has a lovely scrolling engraving. The centre of the dial is then signed by the maker “JOHN WALKER 1 South Molton St LONDON”. Finally the dial has a lovely bevelled and silvered surround as well as having two lovely shaped hands.

The movement is then wound from the front and adjusted from the back. It comes complete with its regulating pendulum, winding key, and travel nut and ticks away as it should. The movement is then signed like the dial and reads “JNo WALKER LTD 65 NEW BOND ST LONDON 6842”.
The clock then has its working locks and keys for the front and back drawer.
It measures approximately:
12.75” / 32.5cm Tall with handle up.
7.25” / 18.25cm Wide.
5.5” / 14cm Deep.
