Corvidae Antique has dated this piece to the Victorian era.

The English Arts & Crafts movement (c. 1880-1910) championed hand made pieces with an emphasis on craftsmanship and the aesthetics of design to create beauty rather than intrinsically valuable materials such as diamonds. Natural baroque pearls, silver and uncut stones were considered preferable to precious gemstones and peacock colours were especially popular.

The necklace is in very good antique condition, with a secure springring clasp. One of the turquoise pieces nearest the clasp is chipped, though still firmly attached to the chain, please see photos.
Length: 55cm (approximately 22 inches).
Size: The beads are approx 2cm long on average.
Weight: 14.7g.
