Dating 1880 and made in mahogany with inlaid and rosewood marquetry inserts, you can see this Indian/Empire influence with these Peacock fanned backs.
Standing on these fine legs with this wonderful fan shaped back, and smothered in inlaid.
Padded and upholstered seats recently reupholstered in this heavy crush chenille fabric and trimmed with matching braid.
Having its original polish plus patina its a medium mahogany colour with a lovely polish (please see pictures)
These chairs are solid in all there joints, with NO breaks and NO woodworm.
