A fine example of a mid 18thc polychrome delft charger...it has a hand painted garden scene decorated with trees, a bridge by a pond and with a floral border.....it is painted in blue, green, yellow and orange colours, under and over glaze....the charger is in good condition with a couple of minor chips and some nibbling. (The adhesive label on the back of the plate is easily removed with hot water, but I have left it on as the new owner might like to hang it on a wall.)English, possibly London.
