Description

A beautifully made and very interesting antique early Victorian storage unit / library steps. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1840’s period.

It is of great quality and is a useful size, perfect for use as library steps or as an occasional side table / entry bench.

The mahogany has a gorgeous patina and colour tone, there are wonderful solid brass ring pull handles and tooled leather surfaces.

The upper leather top section lifts up to reveal storage space, and the centre leather top section slides out and also lifts up to reveal even more storage space.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is great for its age, with various small marks and bumps here and there beneath the polish.
