Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
It has fluted corner pillars with corinthian capitals, a fully opening glazed door and a shaped plinth base. The silvered dial has foliate engraved spandrels and a matted centre. The chapter ring has black, engraved Roman numerals and outside minute track. There is a subsidiary dial with Strike/Silent facility for controlling the striking. The silvering is in first class condition.

The fully opening front door has thick bevelled glass and a silvered sight ring.
The 8 day, Westminster-Chime movement strikes on the quarters and the hours. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee. It is clearly marked with the Gustav Becker logo.
A truly magnificent looking clock in pristine condition.
