Antique French Marble Top Side Table

1920 - 1940
Description

A beautiful and unusual antique French marble top serving table in king wood. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1930’s.

It is a very useful size, perfect for use as a drinks trolley or occasional side table. The off white marble top and the lower tier have pierced brass galleries, there are lovely gilt metal ormolu mounts on the corners. Beneath the top there is a single drawer, and the cabriole legs sit on strong casters that roll smoothly. This has a lovely oval shape, the back is also nicely polished so it can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this revived and re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.

Depth – 17 inches , 43 cm

Height – 27 inches , 69 cm
