Excellent Japanese Edo (19thC) five-case gold, silver and black lacquer inro by Koma Koryu, both sides decorated in hiramaki-e and takamaki-e with large cranes, the elegant birds depicted standing in a variety of postures. The base signed Koma Koryu saku. Comes with a glass ojime. Measures 8.5 x 4.5cm.
