Description

For your consideration is this beautifully restored gents wrist watch by the American watch company Elgin. On first viewing one can't not be impressed by the dial, for a 90 year old watch it's almost flawless, yet totally original and untouched aside a light clean. Recently serviced last month, this watch keeps good time and has also been ultrasonically cleaned so it's as hygienic as possible. Also fitted with a new soft leather strap. Perfect watch for any gent as daytime wear and evening. Movement is a 15 jewel Elgin grade 536. Serial no. X149274 dates it to 1939.

Size is approx. 21mm (without crown) x 40mm total length.

Strap: 16mm wide, tapering slightly to 14mm at the buckle.

Wrist fitting: The watch should fit a wrist size of between 160mm and 190mm.
