A Superb Hallmarked Silver & Cut Glass Cocktail Shaker

A superb and rare silver mounted cocktail shaker from the Art Deco period. The body is stylishly shaped in the traditional cocktail shaker form, with a tapering body and cut glass decoration. The pull off cap opens to reveal a strainer (also removable) and the body is mounted with a silver collar. Cocktail shakers abound in silver plate and a fully hallmarked example is both rare and desirable. With the current trend for cocktails, this would make a great bar accessory and is an attractive piece with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent with no serious dents or splits and no cracks or chips to the glass. There is a small area of 'flattening' to the top of the collar, minor and commensurate with age and use.
