Delightful Cased George V Silver Thimble by Charles Horner, Chester 1922

1900 - 1920
Description

This lovely cased silver thimble was made in Chester 1922 by the sought-after silversmith Charles Horner. The lower section of the thimble fully hallmarked the middle section engraved with floral designs. The Morocco leather case lined with velvet and satin.

Hallmarks:

CH for Charles Horner.

Lion Passant.

Chester Assay Mark.

Date letter "w" for 1911.

Size number 9.

Dimensions:

Height of the case: 3.5 cm

Height of the thimble: 2.5cm

Diameter: 1.8cm

Condition:

Excellent.

Both silver thimble and case in very good condition.
