N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The clock then has a shaped top with a shaped brass carry handle to the top and brass mounts to each corner. Each corner then has a square wooden pillar topped with a shaped brass final. The top front and sides of the case then has fretwork panels followed by a brass moulding. The front of the case then has brass topped pillars followed by a further brass moulding. Finally there is a section with a shaped brass mount to the top followed by another brass moulding and a further base.
The dial then has a silvered chapter ring set out in black Roman numerals with a thin ring to the outside with each minute marked in Arabic numerals. The centre of the dial then has red veneer to match the case. Finally the dial is finished with two shaped fingers as well as a domed and bevelled glass set into a brass bezel.
The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It comes complete with its regulating pendulum and winding key and ticks away as it should. The movement then strikes once on the half past and the number of hours on the hour via a gong.
It measures approximately:

6.25” / 15.75cm Wide.
4.25” / 10.75cm Deep.
