Rare Silver Vesta Case Featuring Edward VII Birm' 1901

A rare Edwardian silver Vesta Case featuring a finely detailed  profile of the bust of King Edward VII , chased and engraved with a matt background and the bust of The King being a polished finish.   The back is a plain polished silver.  The hinged lid opens and closes well and when open clear hallmarks are visible on the lip for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1901, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the silver maker''s mark for Samuel M Levi.  There is a loop at the top for attachment.
 
 
 
Condition:  In great antique collector''s condition.  (There are some very slight indentations to the surface around the bottom corners of the Vesta which are commensurate with age and are mentioned for accuracy only.)
 
 
 
Hallmarks: Birmingham 1901 by Samuel M Levi.
 
 
 
Measurements:  Height: 5 cm   Width:  3.9 cm   Depth:  1.1 cm   Weight:  31 grams
