In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It stands on a simple plinth base and comes with a working key. The drawers open smoothly and the drawers and cupboards are both clean and tidy inside.
It is in good condition and the pine has a nice warm colour. It has been cleaned and given a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. There are signs of age and use, some marks here and there and a few minor shrinkage splits but nothing untoward or detrimental. It displays very nicely and is ready for use.
