Very stylish and appealing Art Deco decanter set which comes with six matching glasses, and decanter, the whole being heavily enamelled with geometric decoration. The colour is a lemon yellow with black enamelling and etched accents and the condition is great with just minor signs of age, some clouding in the base of the decanter and odd little marks here and there but no damage, all are free from chips, nibbles etc. This set oozes quality and we know the new lucky owner will be nothing less than absolutely delighted with it. The most common colour of uranium glass is pale yellowish-green, which in the 1930s led to the nickname "Vaseline glass" based on a perceived resemblance to the appearance (which was a yellow-green colour) of Vaseline brand petroleum jelly as formulated and commercially sold at that time.
