The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch has a Zenith 2532 PC automatic movement which is working nicely. This is a good quality 30 jewel movement which was in production from 1961 until 1964.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is some rubbing to the plate on the back of the watch, around the opening to the movement, but not too serious at all. The inside of the case back is signed with the Zenith name. The case back has some scratching where a tool seems to have slipped in the past.

Later plain winding crown.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and date display. There is some freckling across the dial. The date is an early form of quickset where the hands are turned repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 6.20pm until the desired date is reached.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
