Description

An unusual Victorian dog's collar made from woven or platted leather, miraculously without any breaks or damage to the leather strands.

All of the fittings; buckle, lead or leash ring, and the rivetted name plate are all made from a silver coloured metal, I think steel, all pieces with a wonderful antique patina.

The collar measures 16" in length including the buckle x 7/8" thick, the maximum circumference that the collar would fit is about 14".

Excellent condition.
