Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

This trunk is made in metal and was deigned for long hall travel, the outer metal has a ribbed effect simulating a softer fabric like leather
The trunk is cubic, on lifting the main lid a lidded compartment is revealed, this is removable and opens revealing storage compartments for shoes etc. The main body of the trunk also lifts out this is made from webbing

This is a top quality piece many of the fittings are in leather and brass all of course stamped INNOVATION with the trademark triangle visible on every possible surface
The trunk is good and sound but does show signs of a busy life, on the outside it has a few dings and dents and many shipping labels but the leather handles are still strong
The box is 25” wide, 25” deep and 25” high
