Antique silver Omega pocket watch.

The watch has an unsigned Omega stem-winding movement which is working nicely. Watch manufacturers often supplied unsigned watches as private label pieces, to be sold under the retailer’s name. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks for 935 silver inside both of the case backs, this is slightly purer the 925 sterling silver. The case has light surface marking from use and there are a couple of small “dings” to the back but overall it is in nice condition for an 1900s piece. The case back has nice crisp engine turned detail and a vacant cartouche.

The glass lens has a little marking , light surface scratches to the outer edge , but overall it is very acceptable for such an early piece.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition.

The watch has gold pin set hands and a blued steel sub seconds hand.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
