Antique 1920s Limit pocket watch.

The watch has a high grade Swiss stem-winding movement with 16 jewels and a snail cam regulator which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Limit name , 16 jewels, Swiss made. Limit were importers of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a mild bruise to the back cover but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The signed double sunk dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original gold hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
