A fine quality Victorian mahogany pedestal desk by London makers, Edwards & Roberts of Wardour Street.
Nine mahogany lined drawers with beautifully made hand made dovetails and solid bottoms, all run incredibly smoothly, with quality brass locks with working keys, stamped VR, and original wooden knobs with original wooden threads.
Supported on the usual brass castors with trademark wooden wheels.
The lock of the top right hand pedestal drawer has a replacement Victorian Bramah lock but doesn''t have a key.
