Fabulous Art Deco Silver & Guilloche Enamel Dressing Table Jar, Birmingham Circa 1920

Description

This stunning Art Deco silver and mint green large size guilloche enamel dressing table jar dates circa 1920. The exquisite pale green enamel lid fitted on a clear crystal glass body incised with geometric patterns. The inner lid with very pale gilt wash.

The base star incised

Hallmarks:

Makers marks partially erased.

Lion passant.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter erased but this type of guilloche enamel work and cut glass dates circa 1925.

Condition:

Excellent.

Enamel lid in excellent condition.

Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.

Dimensions:

Height: 6cm / 2.2 inches.

Diameter: 10cm / 4 inches.
