Description

A superb quality pair of mid 19th century burr walnut, harewood and ormolu mounted side cabinets inlaid with boxwood and tulipwood stringing, each cabinet having twin mirrored doors opening to reveal the original velvet lined interior. Attributable to Holland and Sons.

Interestingly one cabinet is 7cm narrower in width than the other which possibly indicates that they were commissioned to fit a pair of alcoves that were slightly different in width.
