Description

Lucien Potronat was born in Lyons, France in 1889. As a young man he moved to Paris and by the end of World War I he exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon.
In the late 1930s he moved to the French Riviera and his work was then dominated by that landscape.
So it is probable that this painting of Rue Norvins, Montmartre, Paris is an earlier work.
The dimensions are of the frame.
