A very elegant, high quality and eye catching sterling Silver Georgian Tea Pot and stand with superb engraved decoration. They have managed to stay together for 222 years. The tea pot is a decent size and will hold plenty of tea.
Both are fully hallmarked Sterling silver for London 1799
Makers mark of James Mince to both pieces.
Both the tea pot and stand really are in a remarkable condition for their age with no damage or repairs. The engraved decoration is still incredibly sharp and defined.
The inside is in good order with signs of use.
The hinge is in good working order.
The fruit wood finial and handle are both in good condition.
16cm height to tip of the handle.
28.5cm length including handle and spout.
15cm by 11cm body.
493 grams teapot only weight.
