A large and impressive early 20th Century mahogany partners desk, having the original green leather writing surface decorated with gold and blind tooling, having an arrangement of nine mahogany lined graduated drawers on one side with a double drawer at the bottom of each side, the drawers having the original turned wooden knob handles, the other side of the desk having the same arrangement except the right hand pedestal having a cupboard with a single shelf inside, each pedestal having decorative paneled sides, raised on a moulded edge plinth base. lovely warm rich mahogany colour and in excellent condition. Locks are stamped “HOBBS & CO LONDON” Circa 1920.
