Antique Georgian Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

Description

A superb antique bow fronted Georgian period chest of drawers in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around 1820-1840’s period.

This is a great size with lots of storage space, and it’s extremely well made. It sits on splayed bracket feet, with beautifully turned mahogany handles and a bow shaped front. The mahogany grain patterns are gorgeous, and this has a lovely, rich colour tone.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in fantastic condition for its age. There are various small bumps and marks beneath the polish, this retains plenty of character and patina.
