Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Combination Wardrobe C1890

AntiqueLate Victorian Mahogany Combination Wardrobe and dating from around 1890. Constructed fro. Quality mahogany it has a low cornice top above a full length oval bevelled mirrored door with original brass handle and with internal hanging rail. To one side there are two small astragal glazed doors with original brass handle and with internal shelf. This is above a shaped frieze over a open compartment and two short drawers over two long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with brass handles. All of the drawers and door having fine stringing. It is raised on a plinth base with fine stringing and dental moulding and on a squared tapering leg with a spade foot.

MEASURES: 70.5” HIGH X 20.5” DEEP X 55.5” WIDE & INTERNAL DEPTH 19”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
