This is a very attractive 18th century oak settle with a beautiful upholstered seat cushion in a kilim type fabric. The overall condition is very good with no weak joints or major faults. It is totally original so it has its quirks which make it all the better. The panelled back rest is a great design and classic of the period. Nice thick legs as well. Overall a well made honest piece of country furniture with a bold decorative appeal.
