This Antique oak dog kennel dresser was made circa 1820.

This style of dresser is called a ‘dog kennel’ dresser due to the centre opening was said to be where the owner’s dog would sleep.

It has 3 drawers running under the top, all with brass plate swing handles. Under the drawers are a cupboard door with pointed arch panels, that open to gain access to the cupboard. Between the cupboards is the dog kennel with the oak boarded planks and shaped arch.

The dresser stands on bracket feet.
