Description

A grand antique Victorian guard chain from the late 19th Century. The intricate rope twist chain is crafted expertly in a bright 18ct yellow gold and leads to a claw clasp at the bottom that would have traditionally been adorned with a pocket watch, lorgnette, or muff.
It measures an impressive 49 inches in length and has a good, weight to it. It can be worn as one long chain or looped twice around the neck.
