As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this fine Edo/ Meiji Period oval shaped shakudo and mixed metal tsuba, the fine nanako ground is decorated with a rather interesting depiction of a potter at his kilns, further decorated to each side with gold birds in flight above pine trees , the scene worked in mixed metals including gold , silver and shibuichi , another fine tsuba from a single owner collection.
