Description

This extra large silver plated oval tray which is made by renowned maker Walker & Hall of Sheffield dates from the first half of the 20th century and is a wonderful heavy quality piece.

This stylish tray has a plain design with ribbed edging, two stylish side handles, bears a family crest to the centre and the underside is marked with the maker's details.

This handsome tray not only looks great on display and is perfect for a table centre piece due to it's extra large size but is also a nice usable barware accessory.

Material: Silver plate.

Date: First half of 20th century.

Maker: Walker & Hall.

Marked: Walker & Hall Sheffield. Walker & Hall logo. b E 26942G.

Dimensions: 66 cm (26") Length including handles. 41 cm (16") Width. 5 cm (2") Height to top of handles.

Weight: 2.972 kg.

Condition: Excellent antique / vintage condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches, marks and tarnish. Please see pictures.
