Antique Blue Japanned Chinoiserie Bureau

A rather wonderful antique Victorian blue Japanned chinoiserie bureau. The chinoiserie bureau has fantastic painted detail throughout depicting scenes of oriental life. The bureau has a fall front that opens to reveal a fitted interior consisting of small drawers, pigeonholes, and a central cupboard with further painted decoration. The bureau has three fitted drawers each with small loop handles. Raised on ogee bracket feet. A particularly pleasing piece of antique furniture.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top, sides, front and interior (pictured). There is a minor split to one of the sides, however this doesn’t affect the integrity of the product (pictured) There are also minor chips and cracking to the paintwork throughout (pictured). The antique Chinoiserie bureau remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a fantastic example of its kind.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
