Early 20th Century Carved Camphor Wood Trunk

A particularly good early 20th century carved camphor wood trunk or chest. The camphor wood trunk has decorative carved detail throughout depicting scenes of oriental life. The hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious interior with ‘Made in Hong Kong’ stamped to the back. A rather good example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the top, front, and sides (pictured). The camphor wood trunk remains structurally solid and sound. A good example.
