18th Century Antique Oak Settle

An attractive and charming 18th century antique oak settle. The antique oak settle has a tall five panelled backrest, with shaped open arms and a hinged seat. The hinged seat opens to reveal a spacious compartment, with a central divider creating two storage spaces. The antique oak settle is raised on four square feet. A great example of an 18th century settle.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and minor dents throughout the item including the backrest, front and side panels, and the seat (pictured). There are chips in the wood throughout the item but this doesn’t affect the integrity and adds to its character. There are signs of historical woodworm, however this is now long gone and has since been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak settle remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a good example of its kind.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
