George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers

A good sized and stunning Georgian mahogany chest of drawers. The antique mahogany chest has an arrangement of two short over four long graduating drawers, each with decorative brass backplates and swan neck drop handles. The antique mahogany chest is raised on four small bun feet. This is a particularly tall chest so make sure to check measurements before you buy.

Height – 117cm / Width – 101cm / Depth – 50cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, stains and minor dents throughout the item including the top, drawer fronts and sides (pictured). Both sides have shrinkage splits (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the integrity of the product. There are losses to the drawers (pictured). There are signs of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique mahogany chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of a Georgian antique.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
