Antique Tall Art Nouveau Mahogany and Walnut Sideboard C1890

Superb Antique Tall Art Nouveau Mahogany and Walnut Sideboard or Bookcase and dating from around 1890.Constructed from quality mahogany and walnut it has a stylised Art Nouveau carved frieze to the top with a pierced heart to the centre and to each side. This is above a moulded cornice over a burr walnut cross banded frieze. To the centre there are two original stained glass doors over an arched frieze with inset mirror to the back. This is flanked on either side by a glazed arched shaped door with carved frieze to the top and with original handles and working key. Internally to each side there are four fully adjustable shelves. The base has a moulded edge to the top above two long drawers separated by carved corbels over two drawers to the centre and flanked on either side by a a carved gadroon frieze drawer over a carved panelled door. All of the drawers are walnut fronted and being ash lined with original copper used handles. The doors also have their original handles and working keys.the whole is raised on turned legs and the top separates from the base for ease of transporting.
